You will clarify your role in the workplace and identify foci for professional development that will enable you to become an increasingly effective practitioner. This will be based upon professional standards or requirements that you identify as being relevant to you and your work.

Developing a capability to tackle lifelong learning as the need arises in professional practice. A review of professional expectations in relation to your working practice will uncover an area for learning.

You will develop research rigour and apply practitioner and academic knowledge to an action inquiry. In choosing a topic, you justify your focus for action inquiry.

During this module you will plan out the work for the final summative year of the Batchelors degree course. This will involve reviewing changes in your work role and what has been learned through the degree course to date. This will be used to update your Personal Development Plan.

This module will provide the theoretical underpinning for your research work. This will involve an in depth literature review of the literature specific to their topic of research. You need to look at a variety of relevant literature, identifying key concepts, discussing in depth issues synthesised from a variety of sources.
